Inspired in helping others, Matt has pursued different ventures in being an advocate for the safety, ambition, creativity, and untapped potential of those around him.

Matt obtained numerous certifications in various areas of service to others.
Public Safety Background:
He has an extensive background is in Public Safety, volunteering in the fire service as a Firefighter, EMT, and Technical Rescue Specialist since 2009. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, Matt applied his education and experience to local level Emergency Management, serving in command, planning, training, and logistical roles across a number of incident types since 2012. Matt also spent time at the Federal level, developing trainings and exercises for all levels of emergency responders both domestically and abroad.

Small Business Background:
Matt tried various business ventures before founding Unpaved Ventures in 2018. Unpaved Ventures was founded as a means to help small business owners pursue their dreams off the beaten path. This was initially rooted in helping local businesses to be seen and stay current, by designing websites for them. Since then, Matt has shifted his focus onto helping people in their personal development journey.

Personal Development Background:
Since shifting to a personal development brand back in 2019, Matt ventured deeper into this field by obtaining his Life Coaching Certificate from the Robbins Madanes Training center. Now he hopes to help people find their purpose in life, exploring all that they’re capable of and empowering them to take action.
